Career Guidance

Wilderness Therapy Namibia realized that learners are not prepared for life after school. Many don’t know what they want to study or what the realities of job hunting are.

Each year, we start off with a career guidance week. This 4-day workshop guides and prepares the participants in the various aspects of career planning, CV preparation, interview skills, and job hunting.In June, we go on tour to discover Namibia’s vocational possibilities, and what our participants need in order to get accepted

The career guidance workshop is followed by a Career Excursion to the coast, in June of each year. Participants visit 3 vocational training centers as well as some businesses where they receive 1st hand information on employment opportunities. Many participants also see and experience the ocean for the first time.
